We Are Living in the Finished Work Bookstore began with a simple purpose: to use the written word to teach, encourage, educate, and strengthen others.

Founded by Rev. Dr. Antonio Arnold, the bookstore grew from his years of experience in Christian ministry, biblical education, military and federal service, business, teaching, and community involvement. What began primarily as a platform for Christian and theological writings gradually developed into a growing collection of books addressing a much wider range of subjects.

The name “We Are Living in the Finished Work” reflects the Christian foundation upon which the ministry and bookstore were established—the belief that the redemptive work of Jesus Christ provides the foundation for Christian faith, hope, and purpose.

From Ministry to Publishing

After decades of ministry, teaching, military service, and professional experience, Rev. Dr. Antonio Arnold began turning many of the lessons he had learned, researched, taught, and experienced into published works.

Biblical studies and Christian theology became an important part of the early collection. Over time, the catalog expanded to include books addressing history, veterans' issues, career development, education, entrepreneurship, business, technology, artificial intelligence, culture, personal development, and other areas of practical knowledge.

This expansion reflected a larger vision: books could do more than inform—they could become tools that help people understand their faith, learn from history, develop new skills, discover opportunities, and improve their lives.


A Growing Family of Authors

The bookstore also expanded to feature the works of Sheila G. Arnold, whose publications focus on areas such as nutrition, healthy living, weight management and maintenance, lifestyle improvement, hospitality, and personal wellness.

Together, the works of Antonio and Sheila Arnold have helped transform the bookstore into a diverse collection of educational, inspirational, historical, theological, and practical resources.


Preserving Knowledge for the Next Generation

Today, We Are Living in the Finished Work Bookstore represents more than a collection of published books. It represents years of faith, study, research, service, teaching, life experience, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Every publication contributes to a larger mission: preserving knowledge and experience so that others can learn from it.

Our history continues to be written with every new book, every reader reached, and every generation equipped with knowledge.

For the website itself, I would place Our History, Our Mission, Our Values, and Meet the Authors together under an “About Us” section. That would give the bookstore a much stronger institutional identity rather than making it appear to be only an online collection of individual books.
